Role Description The Pharmacist Faculty role is a full-time, on-site position. The faculty member will design and deliver lectures, tutorials, and workshops focused on international pharmacy licensure exams and professional practice standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing teaching materials, assessing learner performance, providing academic advising, and offering mentorship to support learners’ progress toward registration in various countries. The role also involves updating course content to reflect current global pharmacy regulations, participating in curriculum development, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance program quality. The faculty member is expected to contribute to academic events, maintain accurate records, and support continuous improvement of teaching and learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Professional pharmacy qualification (e.g., B.Pharm, Pharm.D) and eligibility or registration as a pharmacist in at least one recognized jurisdiction.

• Demonstrated teaching or training experience in pharmacy education, licensure exam preparation, or related academic settings.

• Strong knowledge of international pharmacy practice standards, regulations, and exam structures for countries such as Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Ireland, the US, and Gulf states.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills, with the ability to teach diverse learners in a clear and engaging manner.

• Ability to design structured curricula, develop learning materials, and assess learner performance using fair and transparent evaluation methods.

• Proficiency with educational technology, online learning platforms, and basic office software to support teaching and learner engagement.

• Strong mentoring and counselling skills, with a learner-centered approach and commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory educational practices.

• Experience working in multicultural environments; fluency in English is required, additional language skills are an advantage.

• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple cohorts and meet academic deadlines.

• Willingness to participate in institutional activities, continuous professional development, and ongoing curriculum enhancement.
