Role Description The Senior Quantity Surveyor will oversee cost planning, budgeting, and financial control for marble-focused construction and fit-out projects in Dubai. This full-time, on-site role includes preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), monitoring project costs, and producing regular cost reports to support informed decision-making. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will work closely with project managers, designers, and procurement teams to ensure cost efficiency while maintaining quality standards and compliance with contractual requirements. Daily responsibilities include evaluating variations and claims, supporting tender processes, and providing accurate forecasts and risk assessments to keep projects on track and within budget.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in cost management, including Cost Control and Cost Management across construction or fit-out projects.

• Strong background in cost planning, with proven experience in Cost Planning and Cost Reporting for complex, multi-phase projects.

• Proficiency in BOQ preparation, analysis, and verification, ensuring accurate quantities and alignment with design specifications.

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

• Several years of experience in a quantity surveying role, preferably with exposure to marble, stone, or high-end interior projects.

• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications, with strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.

• Advanced use of cost management and MS Office software; familiarity with industry-standard QS tools is an advantage.

• Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary, on-site project environment in Dubai.
