Role Description This is a contract, hybrid Mechanical Engineer role based in Abu Dhabi. The Mechanical Engineer will design, analyze, and develop mechanical systems for residential and commercial building projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing and reviewing mechanical layouts and models, performing calculations, and producing technical documentation using CAD tools. The role involves coordinating with architects and other engineering disciplines, supporting project management activities such as scheduling and progress tracking, and contributing to R&D efforts to improve design methods and project efficiency. The Mechanical Engineer will also participate in site visits, design reviews, and client meetings as required.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to building systems.

• Experience with Project Management, including planning, coordination, and monitoring of engineering activities.

• Capability in Research and Development (R&D) to support innovation, optimization, and continuous improvement of mechanical solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

• PQP is a plus

• Familiarity with relevant building codes, standards, and sustainability considerations.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and clients.

• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage time independently, and adapt to changing project requirements.

• Preferably Abu Dhabi based candidates
