## Description

Are you a business development professional with real lighting or acoustics product knowledge, and an existing black book of contacts in the commercial fit-out space?

A well established lighting and acoustics supply and design company based in Dubai is scaling its commercial sales team. Over six years, they have built a track record delivering large scale projects across offices, mega villas, restaurants and hotels, including standout landmark developments alongside major museum and airport projects. With an in house design team producing the vast majority of their work, they offer a genuinely consultative, design led sales process rather than a pure transactional supply model. They are now looking to bring in a specialist who already knows the lighting or acoustics industry to strengthen a fresh, fast growing sales team.

What you'll be doing:

• Identifying and developing new business across commercial projects including offices, hospitality, restaurants and high end residential

• Opening and managing relationships with main contractors, developers and design studios

• Qualifying and progressing opportunities from first contact through to close

• Working closely with an internal design team to bring proposals to life for clients

• Representing the business at industry events and building a genuine presence in the local lighting or acoustics community

• Helping shape and adopt a new CRM and sales process as the company builds out its commercial infrastructure

What we need:

• Proven experience selling lighting or acoustics products into commercial projects, with real product knowledge, not just general B2B sales background

• An existing network of relevant contacts among contractors, developers or design studios in the UAE market

• A track record as a genuine closer and relationship builder, comfortable being tested on a real world 30/60/90 day territory plan

• Comfortable operating with high autonomy in a business that is actively professionalising its sales process and structure

• Based in Dubai
