About the Role

For most brands, the journey ends at purchase. For us, that’s where it begins.

We sell reliable smartphones and the trusted after-sales services that keep them working. We make device ownership affordable. We are opening our first market, and we are looking for the person who will build the marketing operation on the ground.

This is a build, not a handover. No team yet. No playbook. No retail presence. You write all three.

What you'll do

• Build the launch operation from zero — brand assets, packaging, signage, shop openings, campaigns

• Build and run the retail and mobile operator partnerships

• Own the budget and the cost per acquisition, measured per unit sold, not estimated

• Turn the first opening into a playbook the next twenty run on

• Hire and lead the country marketing managers as each new market comes online

What you need

• 8+ years in marketing, with real commercial ownership — budget, CAC or revenue

• Built a marketing operation somewhere where one didn't exist

• Worked on the ground in African or comparable emerging consumer markets, not from a regional hub

• Retail, distribution and mobile operator partnership experience

• Hired and led marketing people in-market, not only managed a central team

• Willingness to spend extended periods in the launch market. This is not a remote role.

Based in Dubai. Reporting to the CEO. Frequent travel to our launch markets in Africa
