About the Job An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Executive Chef to join Jumeirah Burj Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include: • Shape and lead the culinary vision for Jumeirah Burj Al Arab, honouring its legacy as a global icon while setting new benchmarks for food quality, creativity, presentation and guest experience. • Create distinctive and memorable culinary concepts that reflect the spirit of Burj Al Arab, combining international sophistication, innovation and a deep understanding of ultra-luxury hospitality. • Inspire, mentor and unite a high-performing culinary brigade, building a culture of resilience and pride where every colleague is driven to exceed expectations. • Protect and elevate the integrity of every product, ingredient and dish, ensuring the highest levels of consistency, refinement and attention to detail across all culinary touchpoints. • Report to the Managing Director and partner with confidence and composure across senior leadership and key operational partners, bringing clarity, diplomacy and solutions in a highly visible environment. • Deliver exceptional and highly personalised culinary experiences for UHNW guests and VIPs, responding to last-minute requests with creativity, discretion and the confidence expected of an icon. About You The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: • Extensive experience in senior culinary leadership within an ultra-luxury hotel, iconic flagship property, Michelin-starred restaurant or exceptional standalone dining destination. • A refined international culinary repertoire, with the confidence to lead diverse cuisines, shape original concepts and elevate dining experiences for a global guest profile. • Exposure to world-renowned ultra-luxury hospitality environments, with a clear understanding of the standards, discretion and service expectations required at the highest level of the industry. • Strong commercial and operational acumen, including menu engineering, product selection, cost control and the ability to make commercially sound decisions without compromising quality. • A composed and grounded leadership style, bringing passion, humility, resilience and the emotional intelligence required to succeed in a high-profile environment under significant stakeholder focus.
