## Description

Legal & Compliance Specialist / Supervisor

Location: Dubai, UAE

Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal & Compliance Specialist / Supervisor to support the development and implementation of the company's legal and compliance framework in the UAE. The successful candidate will play a key role in contract management, compliance governance, dispute resolution, corporate administration, and legal risk management, while providing day-to-day legal support to business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Legal & Compliance Framework

• Establish, implement, and continuously improve the company's legal and compliance management framework, including policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines.

• Develop legal and compliance work plans and ensure effective implementation across business functions.

Contract Management

• Manage the full contract lifecycle, including drafting and updating contract templates, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements, and providing legal guidance on contractual matters.

• Monitor and supervise contract management practices across subsidiaries and regional entities to ensure compliance and consistency.

Dispute Resolution & Risk Control

• Manage litigation, arbitration, and other dispute-related matters.

• Identify legal risks through case analysis and implement preventive measures to minimize future disputes and strengthen internal controls.

Legal Advisory & Corporate Affairs

• Build and maintain relationships with external law firms and legal service providers.

• Provide day-to-day legal advice and support to business teams.

• Coordinate corporate registration, license renewals, regulatory filings, and company secretarial matters.

• Manage intellectual property matters, including trademark registration, maintenance, and protection.

Legal Technology & Process Optimization

• Participate in the development and optimization of contract management platforms and other legal compliance digitalization initiatives.

• Drive process improvement projects to enhance legal operational efficiency.

Additional Responsibilities

• Perform other legal, compliance, and regulatory duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Law, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in legal, compliance, corporate governance, or related fields.

• Experience supporting multiple business functions and collaborating across departments is preferred.

• Solid knowledge of contract law, corporate law, intellectual property law, and legal risk management.

• Strong contract review, legal drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and coordination abilities.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced business environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with the UAE legal and regulatory environment.

• Experience handling company incorporation, commercial licensing, regulatory filings, and trademark registration in the UAE.

• Background in multinational companies, automotive, manufacturing, industrial, trading, or regional business operations.

• Experience with contract management systems or legal technology solutions is an advantage.

• Stable long-term commitment to working in Dubai/UAE.
