## Description

Resident Engineer (RE) – Civil

Discipline: Civil Engineering

Experience: Minimum 8+ years

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor all civil construction activities at the project site.

• Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.

• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and client representatives to resolve technical and site-related issues.

• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to project schedules and milestones.

• Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, method statements, and material approvals.

• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with quality standards and HSE regulations.

• Verify measurements, work quantities, and contractor invoices.

• Monitor manpower, equipment, and resource utilization.

• Identify construction risks and recommend corrective actions.

• Attend site meetings and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

• Ensure all site documentation and records are maintained accurately.

• Coordinate inspections, testing, and project handover activities.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of civil construction practices and project execution.

• Experience in site supervision and construction management.

• Knowledge of international construction standards and codes.

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

• Excellent coordination, communication, and leadership skills.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Qualification.

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

Professional Engineering certification is an added advantage.
