## Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing intercompany transactions, ensuring compliance with UAE VAT regulations, supporting financial reporting, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities. This role requires strong analytical abilities, excellent attention to detail, and hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain intercompany reconciliation records and resolve reconciliation differences

• Maintain related-party balances, schedules, confirmations, and resolve outstanding differences

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions and accounting records

• Process vendor invoices and payment requests after verifying supporting documentation and approvals

• Prepare financial statements including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement, and Cash Flow Statement

• Reconcile bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and other financial records

• Maintain books of accounts for multiple legal entities

• Prepare trial balances and support month-end and year-end financial close

• Ensure timely compliance with UAE VAT regulations, including VAT return preparation and filing

• Initiate vendor payments with appropriate approvals and supporting documentation

• Manage petty cash, ensuring accurate documentation and authorization

• Coordinate with subsidiaries to reconcile and eliminate intercompany balances

• Respond to parent company queries relating to intercompany transactions

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities

• Analyze financial data and provide meaningful insights to management

• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and required documentation

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and applicable tax regulations

• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related disciplineCPA qualification is preferred

• CMA certification is an added advantage

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of accounting or finance experience

• Prior UAE accounting experience is preferredExperience handling multiple entities is highly desirable

## Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA qualification is preferred; CMA certification is an added advantage.
