## Description

Job Title: ACCOUNTANT

Department: Finance & Accounts

Reports to: Accounts Manager

Direct Reports: No

Job Scope

The Accountant’s role is to assist the Accounts Manager with a range of administrative and financial tasks. These may involve end to end accounting tasks & overseeing Accounting & Financials Controls.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

● Manage the day-to-day processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable and treasury functions.

● Assist in Annual Audit, Corporate Tax filing & VAT compliance.

● Prepare financial reports .

● Develop and implement systems and controls to ensure accurate financial data processing.

● Manage purchase requests within the budgeted allocations.

● Prepare the payroll monthly.

● Review all supplier reconciliation monthly prior to payments.

● Manage all Capex spend and ensure accurate recording thereof.

● Managing debt collection and contacting debtors for overdue debt.

Position Requirements

Qualifications and related Experience

Education: · Bachelor’s Degree in Finance

Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience
