## Description

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced finance professional to lead the accounting and finance function for a diversified group of companies. The successful candidate will oversee financial accounting, taxation, treasury, payroll, procurement, contract administration, project finance coordination, real estate finance, corporate administration, and regulatory compliance while ensuring the highest standards of financial governance and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Manage the complete accounting cycle for multiple entities.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Maintain the general ledger, chart of accounts, trial balance, and accounting records.

• Record journal entries, accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and other accounting adjustments.

• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Prepare management reports, financial analysis, and KPI dashboards.

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and intercompany transactions.

• Perform bank, supplier, customer, and intercompany reconciliations.

• Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.

• Prepare annual budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis.

• Monitor cash flow and prepare rolling cash flow forecasts.

• Develop and strengthen accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.

• Ensure compliance with IFRS and company financial policies.

Payroll & WPS Administration

• Process monthly payroll accurately and on time.

• Prepare and upload WPS salary files.

• Calculate overtime, leave salary, bonuses, deductions, commissions, and End of-Service Benefits.

• Coordinate salary transfers with banking partners.

• Maintain payroll records, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.

• Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law and payroll regulations.

VAT, Corporate Tax & FTA Compliance

• Prepare and submit UAE VAT and Corporate Tax returns.

• Manage FTA registrations and company tax profiles.

• Prepare VAT reconciliations and Corporate Tax computations.

• Review tax invoices for VAT compliance.

• Maintain tax working papers and supporting schedules.

• Coordinate with tax consultants, auditors, and regulatory authorities.

• Respond to FTA audits, assessments, and information requests.

• Monitor changes in UAE tax legislation and ensure timely implementation.

• Ensure timely statutory filings and tax payments.

Banking, Treasury & Cash Management

• Manage relationships with local and international banks.

• Administer online banking platforms and banking facilities.

• Prepare payment instructions, fund transfers, and international remittances.

• Handle KYC documentation and bank account administration.

• Prepare weekly payment schedules.

• Perform daily bank reconciliations.

• Monitor liquidity and prepare cash flow forecasts.

• Maintain petty cash funds, reconciliations, and periodic cash counts.

• Review petty cash claims and supporting documentation.

• Maintain cheque books and cheque registers.

Procurement & Vendor Management

• Review purchase requests and supporting documentation.

• Coordinate supplier onboarding and due diligence.

• Verify supplier invoices against purchase orders, contracts, and approvals.

• Monitor supplier balances and payment aging.

• Maintain procurement documentation and vendor contracts.

Contracts Administration

• Maintain customer, supplier, tenancy, and service agreements.

• Review commercial terms, payment milestones, and contractual obligations.

• Track contract renewals, amendments, expiries, and termination notices.

• Coordinate with legal advisors regarding contract preparation and execution.

• Maintain a centralized contract management system.

• Prepare contract summaries and management reports.

• Verify documentation before processing contract-related payments.

Construction & Project Financial Coordination

• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, engineers, and suppliers.

• Review contractor payment applications and supporting documentation.

• Verify invoices against contracts, approved quotations, and work completion certificates.

• Monitor project budgets, committed costs, and payment schedules.

• Track advance payments, retention amounts, milestone payments, and variation orders.

• Maintain project documentation, warranties, insurance certificates, and handover records.

• Monitor bank guarantees and performance bonds.

• Prepare project cost reports and contractor reconciliation statements.

Insurance & Risk Management

• Coordinate company insurance policies and renewals.

• Maintain insurance schedules and records.

• Process insurance claims with brokers and insurers.

Trade Finance & Letters of Credit

• Coordinate issuance, amendments, and settlement of Letters of Credit (LCs).

• Review shipping documents for LC compliance.

• Liaise with banks, suppliers, and freight forwarders.

• Monitor LC utilization and settlements.

Real Estate Portfolio Management

• Maintain records for investment and rental properties.

• Track tenancy contracts, renewals, rental collections, and off-plan property payments.

• Maintain title deeds and ownership documentation.

Corporate Administration

• Maintain company licenses, statutory records, and corporate documentation.

• Administer government portals, including FTA and ADGM.

• Manage company domains, GoDaddy accounts, and corporate email administration.

• Maintain electronic document management systems.

Audit & Compliance

• Coordinate external and statutory audits.

• Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation.

• Implement audit recommendations and strengthen internal controls.

• Ensure ongoing compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, ACA, CMA, or equivalent is preferred.
