## Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Architect to join one of our clients in Abu Dhabi (Tier 1 Architecture and Engineering Consultancy).

Key Responsibilities

• Review and provide comments on architectural submittals, shop drawings, method statements, and as-built drawings.

• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other disciplines to ensure design integration and resolve technical issues.

• Review and respond to contractor RFIs, technical proposals, and design-related queries.

• Lead and participate in technical coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.

• Manage and mentor site architects and architectural inspectors.

• Conduct site inspections to ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and applicable codes.

• Develop practical technical solutions for construction-related design issues encountered on site.

• Review and approve architectural drawings, layouts, renderings, specifications, and construction documentation.

• Prepare site observation reports and monitor progress throughout the construction phase.

• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards.

• Assist with project estimation, quantity take-offs, value engineering, and material/labour cost reviews where required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.

• Minimum 12 years of relevant professional experience, preferably within a leading engineering consultancy.

• Previous GCC consultancy experience is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of architectural design, construction methodologies, local building codes, and quality standards.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and Microsoft Office.

• Excellent communication and report writing skills in English.

• Arabic language skills are an advantage.

## Requirements
