## Description

Job Title: Finance Director - French Speaking (Real Estate Developer)

Location: Rabat, Morocco

Role Overview:

A leading international real estate developer is looking to appoint an experienced Finance Director to lead its finance function for a landmark development in Morocco.

Reporting directly to the Group CFO, this executive leadership role will oversee financial reporting, accounting operations, compliance, budgeting, business partnering, and financial governance across the business, while supporting strategic decision-making and driving financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Finance Department, including Accounting, Financial Reporting, AP, AR, General Ledger, and Treasury coordination.

• Oversee financial reporting for corporate entities, subsidiaries, and joint ventures.

• Ensure compliance with IFRS, VAT regulations, statutory requirements, and internal financial controls.

• Manage budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and performance reporting.

• Lead external audits and maintain relationships with auditors, banks, investors, and other key stakeholders.

• Monitor financial performance, cash flow, project profitability, and business risks.

• Partner with senior leadership to support strategic planning and commercial decision-making.

• Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, controls, and reporting.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.

• CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.

• 12+ years of finance experience, including at least 8 years in a senior leadership role.

• Strong background within real estate development, construction, or large-scale property development.

• Proven experience leading accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and business finance functions.

• Excellent commercial and business acumen with strong stakeholder management skills.

• Fluent in French (written and spoken) is essential.

• Professional proficiency in English is required.
