## Description

Whizz HR is hiring for Quantity Surveyor / Estimation Engineer to work with a leading Interior Fitout company in Dubai!

Location - Al Quoz, Dubai

Experience - 1-2 years

Working days - Monday to Saturday

Job Purpose:

The Estimator- Interior Fitout will be responsible for managing all cost-related aspects of interior fit-out projects, ensuring value for money while maintaining quality and compliance with project specifications. The role involves preparing cost estimates, tender documents, contracts, variations, and final accounts, as well as working closely with project managers, designers, procurement, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and budgets for interior fit-out projects.

• Evaluate tender documents, drawings, and specifications to assess scope and pricing requirements.

• Manage the procurement process, including obtaining quotations, negotiating with subcontractors, and preparing cost comparisons.

• Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle and highlight any variances against the budget.

• Prepare and submit interim valuations, progress claims, and payment applications.

• Assess and certify subcontractor payment applications and variations.

• Prepare cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and project financial summaries for management and clients.

• Conduct site visits to verify work progress and ensure alignment with financial reports.

• Provide support in contract administration, risk management, and dispute resolution.

• Ensure compliance with company standards, contractual obligations, and local regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably within the interior fit-out industry.

• Strong knowledge of materials, methods, and market rates for interior fit-out works.

• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Candy).

• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
