## Description

Hyrd Consulting is hiring an Accountant on behalf of a fast-growing technology startup operating across the UAE, MENA, and US markets.

We're looking for a hands-on finance professional with strong Xero ERP experience who can take ownership of cash flow forecasting, financial reporting, and day-to-day accounting operations in a fast-paced startup environment

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain rolling 8–12 week cash flow forecast

• Monitor daily cash position and working capital

• Prepare and review monthly P&L and balance sheet reconciliation

• Manage the general ledger using Xero ER

• Handle Accounts Receivable, collections, and Accounts Payable

• Process supplier payments and support payroll

• Assist with month-end and year-end clos

• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and UK accounting standards

• Prepare financial reports for leadership and improve finance processes.

Requirements

• 3–10 years of accounting experience, preferably in a startup or technology company

• Mandatory hands-on experience with Xero

• Strong experience in cash flow forecasting and working capital management.

• Excellent understanding of P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting

• Knowledge of UAE VAT and UK accounting standards
