Position Details:

• Title: Chief Accountant

• Location: Dubai, UAE

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to oversee financial operations across multiple entities in the UAE, Turkey, Egypt, and China. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with deep knowledge of IFRS standards and proven expertise in managing complex, multi-entity operations in a fast-paced international trading environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounting and bookkeeping for 10–15 legal entities (both free zone and non-free zone).

• Manage accounting teams in UAE, Turkey, Egypt, and China.

• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and transparency in financial statements, providing full visibility to the CFO and shareholders.

• Lead consolidation and preparation of group financial statements where applicable.

• Oversee and ensure completion of audits.

• Implement and maintain processes in line with IFRS standards.

• Support hiring and development of a 7–10 FTE accounting team.

• Preferred experience in logistics, trading, food, or FMCG industries.

Requirements:

• 10+ years accounting experience with proven track record in multi-entity operations.

• Deep knowledge of IFRS standards with practical application.

• Experience in international trading.

• Strong leadership with 2–3+ direct reports managed previously.

• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Fluent in Russian and English Language
