## Description

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and creative Landscape Architect Manager to lead the planning, design, coordination, and delivery of landscape architecture projects across residential, commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, and public realm developments. The successful candidate will oversee the complete landscape design process, ensuring high-quality, sustainable, and innovative solutions that align with project objectives, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Landscape Design Management

• Lead the development of landscape architecture concepts, master plans, and detailed design packages.

• Manage all phases of landscape projects from concept design through construction documentation and project completion.

• Ensure landscape designs align with the project's vision, environmental objectives, and budget requirements.

• Review and approve design drawings, specifications, presentations, and technical reports.

• Incorporate sustainable, innovative, and environmentally responsible design principles into all projects.

Project Planning & Delivery

• Manage multiple landscape projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budgets.

• Develop project schedules, resource plans, and design deliverables.

• Monitor project progress and proactively address design, technical, and execution challenges.

• Ensure compliance with project milestones and quality standards.

Stakeholder & Consultant Coordination

• Coordinate with internal teams including Architecture, Engineering, Planning, Development, and Project Management.

• Liaise with external consultants, contractors, government authorities, and utility providers.

• Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and project presentations.

• Manage consultant performance and ensure delivery of contractual obligations.

Technical Review & Site Supervision

• Review landscape construction drawings, material specifications, and shop drawings.

• Conduct site inspections to ensure implementation aligns with approved designs and quality standards.

• Review contractor submittals, method statements, and material samples.

• Identify and resolve site-related design and construction issues.

Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices.

• Obtain necessary approvals from relevant authorities and stakeholders.

• Stay updated on landscaping regulations, sustainability requirements, and industry trends.

Budget & Cost Management

• Support cost planning and budgeting for landscape projects.

• Review BOQs, estimates, and tender documentation.

• Evaluate value engineering opportunities without compromising design intent or quality.

• Monitor project expenditures and consultant fees.

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop landscape architects and design staff.

• Allocate workloads and monitor team performance.

• Foster collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the design team.

• Support recruitment, training, and professional development initiatives.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Urban Design, or a related field.

• Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture or Urban Design is an advantage.

Experience

• 8–12 years of landscape architecture experience specifically design

• Proven experience in large-scale real estate, mixed-use, hospitality, residential, commercial, or public realm projects.

• GCC/UAE experience is highly preferred.

• Experience managing multidisciplinary consultants and design teams.
