## Description

• Position: Graphic Designer

• Salary: AED 6,000 all-inclusive (fixed)

• Benefits: Duty meals, health insurance, visa sponsorship

• Leave: Annual leave as per UAE Labour Law

Purpose & Scope

As a Graphic Designer within the Publishing team, you will translate business needs into compelling visual designs across print and digital media. You’ll work closely with the Senior Graphic Designer and Publishing Manager to develop creative briefs, generate innovative concepts, and deliver high-quality artwork under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Collaboration:

• Interpret project requirements in coordination with the Senior Graphic Designer/Publishing Manager

• Gather and clarify information to develop detailed design briefs

• Creative Development:

• Produce original design concepts that meet cost, time, and brand constraints

• Contribute ideas and artwork for marketing presentations and business-development materials

• Production & Execution:

• Execute multi-media design work—including print layouts, digital graphics, and photo editing—on Mac workstations

• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and high quality in all deliverables

• Revise designs iteratively until stakeholder approval

• Technology & Innovation:

• Stay current with emerging design tools and techniques

• Propose workflow improvements to increase efficiency

• Additional Duties:

• Support ad hoc design tasks as assigned by the Senior Graphic Designer or Publishing Manager

• Adhere to departmental standard operating procedures and professional discipline

General Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field

• Ability to manage multiple projects independently with minimal supervision

• Strong problem-solving skills and innovative mindset

• Excellent command of both Arabic and English typography

Technical Proficiency (Mac):

• Adobe Illustrator

• Adobe Photoshop

• InDesign

• Adobe Acrobat Pro / iWork suite

Operational Management

• Deliver all design projects within agreed timelines

• Follow department SOPs and maintain professional conduct

• Preserve quality standards and departmental discipline

Quality & Client Relations

• Embrace challenges and remain flexible in design revisions

• Foster positive client/stakeholder relationships—welcome feedback and avoid imposing designs

• Iterate until deliverables meet or exceed expectations
