## Description

About the Role

Our semi government client is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of strategic technology initiatives across the organisation's Shared Services function. This role will be responsible for driving technology-enabled business transformation with a strong focus on Customer Experience (CX), process optimisation, digital solutions, and new service activation.

Working across multiple business functions, you will partner with senior stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement, translate business requirements into technology solutions, and deliver projects that enhance customer experience, operational efficiency, and business value. This role requires someone who can confidently bridge the gap between business and technology while managing complex, cross-functional projects from inception through to successful delivery.

This role is a 12 month renewable contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of technology, digital transformation and business improvement projects across the Shared Services function.

• Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation, planning and design through to implementation, go-live and post-implementation support.

• Drive Customer Experience (CX) initiatives that improve service delivery, customer journeys and overall business value.

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions.

• Lead business process improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to simplify, automate and optimise operational processes.

• Support the activation and rollout of new services, ensuring operational readiness and successful adoption across the business.

• Establish and maintain project governance, including project plans, RAID logs, status reporting, budgets and executive steering updates.

• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks and dependencies to ensure successful delivery within agreed parameters.

• Build strong relationships with senior business leaders, technology teams, vendors and external partners to drive collaboration and project success.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver multiple concurrent technology initiatives.

• Ensure effective change management and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.

• Track project KPIs and benefits realisation to ensure initiatives deliver measurable business outcomes.

• Manage third-party vendors and implementation partners where applicable.

• Promote best practice project management methodologies, governance standards and continuous improvement across the Shared Services organisation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or a related discipline.

• Minimum 10 years' experience managing enterprise technology and digital transformation projects.

• Mandatory PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification.

• Proven experience delivering projects focused on Customer Experience (CX), digital transformation, technology implementation and business process improvement.

• Experience within a Shared Services, Corporate Services or large enterprise environment is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated experience managing new service activation, operational readiness and technology-enabled business change.

• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and engage senior leadership and executive-level stakeholders.

• Experience delivering projects using Agile, Waterfall and hybrid methodologies.

• Strong understanding of enterprise technology landscapes, systems integration and digital transformation programmes.

• Hands-on experience with project management and collaboration tools including Jira, ServiceNow, Asana and Microsoft Project.

• Experience working with Oracle Fusion, SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

• Knowledge of CRM and Customer Experience (CX) platforms is highly desirable.

• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance business priorities, customer needs and technology solutions.

• Highly engaging, proactive and collaborative, with the confidence to work across multiple business functions and lead complex cross-functional initiatives.
