## Description

Job Title: Junior Accountant

Job Summary

The Junior Accountant supports the accounting team in managing daily financial tasks, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with financial reporting. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who is eager to develop their accounting skills in a fast-paced work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records, including journals, ledgers, invoices, etc

Record daily transactions and ensure proper documentation and filing

Perform extensive data encoding and tracking using MS Excel, including:

-Petty cash monitoring and reconciliation

-Furnishing and materials list tracking

-Labor attendance sheets logging and updating

Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

Assist in bank reconciliations and month-end closing activities

Help prepare financial reports and summaries as required

Verify expenses and ensure compliance with company policies

Coordinate with other departments to obtain necessary financial information

Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

0–2 years of accounting or finance-related experience

Strong proficiency in MS Excel, including data entry, formulas, and basic data analysis

Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting

Knowledge of accounting software is an advantage

High attention to detail and accuracy

Good organizational and time-management skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good communication skills

Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work well with others

Preferred Skills

Experience in UAE VAT filing and compliance

Exposure to UAE Corporate Tax filing and related regulations

Experience with Tally accounting system

Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities

Can join within 15 days and ok with AED 3,500.00 starting salary with two days off and yearly ticket.
