## Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join a leading international construction consultancy based in Dubai. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute professional to lead the commercial delivery of prestigious building and infrastructure projects across the UAE.

The successful candidate will play a key leadership role, managing commercial teams, providing strategic commercial guidance, and ensuring successful project delivery from procurement through to final account.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the commercial function across multiple high-value construction projects.

• Oversee cost planning, budgeting, forecasting, procurement, and contract administration.

• Manage pre- and post-contract commercial activities, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and in accordance with contractual obligations.

• Provide commercial advice to clients and senior stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

• Lead negotiations with contractors, consultants, and suppliers.

• Manage variations, claims, risk, and dispute avoidance.

• Review and administer construction contracts, with particular emphasis on FIDIC.

• Produce commercial reports and financial forecasts for senior management.

• Mentor and develop junior commercial staff while promoting best practice across the business.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.

• MRICS qualification preferred.

• Minimum 15 years' commercial management experience within construction consultancy.

• Strong experience delivering major building, mixed-use, hospitality, infrastructure, or masterplan developments.

• Proven leadership experience managing commercial teams on multiple concurrent projects.

• Extensive knowledge of FIDIC contracts and procurement strategies.

• Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience working within the UAE or wider GCC market is highly desirable.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with clients and senior stakeholders.
