We're looking for an experienced 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗸 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗘𝗥𝗠) 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 to join a fast-growing, technology-driven financial services organisation.

This isn't your typical governance role.

We're looking for someone who enjoys building rather than simply overseeing. You'll own the Enterprise Risk Management function end-to-end, working directly with senior leadership to design frameworks, assess risk, improve controls, and drive meaningful change across the business.

You'll work directly with senior leadership and the Board to reshape the existing ERM framework, introducing smarter processes, stronger governance and AI-enabled controls across the organisation.

This is a highly visible hire with significant executive sponsorship.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴:

• Redesign and mature the Enterprise Risk Management framework

• Build and improve risk governance, controls and enterprise-wide risk registers

• Lead operational, technology and AI-related risk assessments

• Develop governance around AI agents, automation and emerging technologies

• Assess AI tooling, understand how AI agents are configured, governed and audited

• Partner closely with Engineering, Product, Security, Compliance and executive leadership

• Drive continuous improvement using automation and AI

• Support regulatory readiness and upcoming audits

• Present risk insights and recommendations to senior leadership and the Board

𝗪𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵:

• 7-10+ years' experience in Enterprise Risk Management, Operational Risk, Internal Audit or Technology Risk

• Strong engineering or technical background with the ability to engage credibly with senior technical stakeholders

• Hands-on experience working with AI tools, AI governance or agentic AI workflows

• Understanding of how AI agents are designed, monitored, controlled and audited

• Experience within cryptocurrency, digital assets or fintech (crypto experience strongly preferred)

• Strong understanding of NYDFS and regulated financial environments

• Experience designing and rebuilding enterprise risk frameworks

• COSO framework experience would be highly advantageous

• Comfortable operating as an individual contributor within a lean, high-performing team

• Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience presenting to executive leadership and Board-level stakeholders

## Requirements
