Backed by significant long-term investment, this multi-billion-dollar programme brings together luxury hotels, branded residences, retail, entertainment, public realm and lifestyle experiences within a single destination. With a substantial hospitality pipeline already underway, we're seeking an Executive Director to lead the development of an exceptional portfolio of hotel assets. This is a rare opportunity to influence the vision, strategy and delivery of multiple internationally branded hospitality projects that will define a destination for decades to come. The Opportunity Reporting into senior executive leadership, you will own the development strategy across a portfolio of luxury and lifestyle hospitality assets from early feasibility through to operational readiness. Rather than managing individual projects, you'll operate at portfolio level—shaping investment decisions, asset positioning, operator engagement, guest experience strategy and commercial outcomes while ensuring every development contributes to a cohesive world-class destination. Working alongside development, design, asset management, commercial, delivery and international hotel operators, you'll provide executive leadership across the full lifecycle of multiple assets. Key Responsibilities • Lead the development strategy across a portfolio of hospitality assets from concept through opening. • Define asset positioning, business cases, phasing strategies and value creation opportunities. • Drive executive decision-making on hotel concepts, branding, room mix, amenities, guest experience and operational models. • Align development, design, commercial, asset management and delivery teams to achieve seamless project execution. • Build productive partnerships with leading international hotel operators and hospitality brands. • Oversee governance, approvals and executive reporting across the portfolio. • Balance commercial objectives, design quality and operational excellence to maximise long-term asset performance. • Identify portfolio risks, critical interfaces and strategic opportunities before they impact delivery. • Build and mentor a high-performing development team capable of delivering complex hospitality programmes at scale. About You You'll be an accomplished hospitality development executive with experience leading major hotel or mixed-use portfolios for a developer, investor, sovereign fund or comparable owner organisation. You'll combine strategic thinking with strong commercial judgement and be comfortable making high-value decisions across multiple concurrent developments. We're particularly interested in individuals who can demonstrate: • 20+ years' experience delivering luxury hospitality developments. • Proven leadership of multiple hotel assets or destination-scale mixed-use developments. • Strong understanding of the full development lifecycle from feasibility through operational readiness. • Extensive experience working with international hotel operators and global hospitality brands. • Expertise in asset positioning, development strategy and value optimisation. • Experience navigating complex stakeholder environments and executive governance. • A degree in Real Estate, Architecture, Engineering, Development or a related discipline. Professional accreditation (RICS, RIBA, PMP or equivalent) is advantageous. • Previous experience delivering projects within large-scale master-planned developments is highly desirable.
