Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Civil Engineer to oversee and manage building construction projects from planning through execution. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in site execution, quality control, project coordination, and compliance with UAE construction standards, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day-to-day construction activities at project sites.

• Ensure all construction work is executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.

• Monitor project progress and coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.

• Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality standards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

• Prepare site reports, progress updates, and technical documentation.

• Review construction drawings and resolve technical issues during project execution.

• Ensure adherence to UAE building codes, regulations, and quality standards.

• Coordinate material procurement and verify the quality of construction materials.

• Monitor workforce productivity and optimize site operations.

• Identify project risks and implement corrective actions to minimize delays and cost overruns.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in building construction projects.

• UAE G+1 Certified/Approved Civil Engineer (Mandatory).

• Previous UAE construction experience is essential.

• Valid UAE driving license with own vehicle.

• Strong knowledge of site execution, quality control, construction methodologies, and project coordination.

• Good understanding of UAE construction regulations and safety standards.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

• Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period will be preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and technical documents.

• Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.

• Ability to supervise site teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

• Proficiency in MS Office and engineering software such as AutoCAD is an advantage.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site activities simultaneously.

Languages

• Mandatory: English

• Preferred: Hindi, Malayalam, and Tamil

Experience Required

5–10+ years of relevant experience in building construction projects within the UAE.
