## Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Site Engineer with steel structure experience who will be responsible for supervising and coordinating on-site construction activities related to structural steel works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor all steel structure erection and installation activities on site.

• Review construction drawings, shop drawings, and method statements before execution.

• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and approved construction procedures.

• Inspect steel fabrication, erection, bolting, welding, and alignment works.

• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions during construction.

• Conduct site inspections and ensure corrective actions are implemented for non-conforming work.

• Coordinate with surveyors for layout, leveling, and structural alignment.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.

• Review material deliveries and verify compliance with approved specifications.

• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource management.

• Prepare quantity take-offs, material requests, and work completion reports.

• Attend project coordination meetings.

• Coordinate testing and inspection activities with consultants and third-party inspectors.

• Support project handover by preparing as-built documentation and close-out reports.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction projects, with significant experience in steel structure works.

• Experience working on industrial, commercial, warehouse, or high-rise steel structure projects in the

• UAE is preferred.

• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of structural steel erection, fabrication, welding, and bolting techniques.

• Ability to interpret structural drawings, shop drawings, and fabrication drawings.

• Familiarity with UAE construction standards, project specifications, and quality requirements.

• Knowledge of construction sequencing and site management.

• Experience with QA/QC documentation and inspection procedures.

Proficiency in:

o AutoCAD

o Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

o Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project (preferred)

o Basic knowledge of BIM/Revit is an advantage.
