## Description

Job Purpose:

Responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of preparing all necessary laboratory equipment, Manuals and Operating Procedures, and ensuring the laboratory is available and fully operational for plant Start-up: personnel, equipment and adequate supply of chemicals and consumables. Reports directly to the Commissioning & Start-up Methods Lead. The Laboratory Specialist shall develop and implement the permanent Laboratory Information Management System. They shall also ensure mentorship and training of the routine operation laboratory personne

Job Responsibilitie

s:

Commissioning and Start-up preparat

• ionEnsure design meets all the operational and HSE requireme

• ntsOrganize laboratory equipment reception and equipment storage. Follow-up on missing and downgraded equipment with Contractor and / or Vendor commissioning procedures, test plans, and system handover documentat

• ionActively participate in the laboratory pre-commissioning and commissioning. Record punch items and follow-up on punch list clearance with the objective of ensuring the laboratory is available to support plant start

• -upIdentify potentially required specific analyses which will not be possible on site, and elaborate means and procedures to perform those analyses (sub-contracting to third party laborator

• iesReview and adjust (with equipment Vendor), calibration of all the laboratory equipm
