## Description

Position: Project Manager – Doors & Joinery (U.A.E.)

Position Overview

As a Project Manager – Doors & Joinery at UNICO MEA, you will oversee the delivery of door, joinery, and hardware packages from award to handover, with responsibility for planning, contracts, clients, procurement, production, site execution, quality, HSE, cost, and programme.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead doors, joinery, and hardware projects from award to final handover.

* Manage programme, cost, quality, HSE, contractual compliance, and project risks.

* Act as the main contact for clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, factories, and internal teams.

* Develop project strategies, programmes, resources, milestones, and deliverables.

* Review contracts, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and scopes to identify obligations, risks, interfaces, and opportunities.

* Lead shop drawings, submittals, samples, mock-ups, technical documentation, and approvals.

* Coordinate procurement, production, logistics, and installation in line with the programme.

* Monitor progress, cost, resources, and milestones; implement corrective and recovery measures.

* Manage variations, additional works, claims, and commercial opportunities.

* Lead site coordination, installation, inspections, testing, NCRs, snags, and close-out.

* Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, standards, QA/QC, and HSE requirements.

* Manage multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, production, logistics, QA/QC, HSE, and site operations.

* Conduct project/client meetings, reporting, action follow-up, and maintain project documentation.

* Drive completion, handover, client satisfaction, and repeat business opportunities.

Required Skills

* Strong project leadership, planning, decision-making, and problem-solving.

* Strong contract, commercial, risk, and project controls knowledge.

* Excellent stakeholder, negotiation, communication, and follow-up skills.

* Strong technical knowledge of doors, joinery, architectural hardware, and fit-out.

* Experience with budgets, variations, claims, QA/QC, HSE, procurement, and site execution.

* Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects.

* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, Word, and MS Project.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment.

Qualifications & Experience

* Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

* 7–12 years of relevant project management experience, preferably in doors, joinery, fit-out, or construction.

* Proven experience managing projects from award through completion and handover.

* Strong knowledge of door systems, architectural hardware, joinery, and finishes.

* Experience in contracts, procurement, commercial management, QA/QC, HSE, variations, claims, submittals, and site execution.

* Experience coordinating consultants, contractors, suppliers, manufacturers, and multidisciplinary teams.

* U.A.E. project experience strongly preferred.

## Requirements
