Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to spearhead our rapidly growing Electric Vehicle (EV) portfolio. This role will oversee established and upcoming flagship editions, including the Evolve Future Mobility Show in the UAE, and the EVS series across Saudi Arabia, Kenya, and Morocco. As we aggressively expand our EV footprint into emerging and established markets such as Canada and Ethiopia, the Project Manager will take full ownership of event lifecycles, operational delivery, and strategic global growth.

Key Responsibilities

Event Strategy & Execution:

• Take end-to-end management of the EV event portfolio, ensuring world-class delivery of exhibitions in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kenya, Morocco, and new launch markets (Canada, Ethiopia).

• Develop and oversee comprehensive project plans, budgets, and operational timelines for each regional edition.

• Coordinate venue logistics, working directly with premier international exhibition spaces such as Expo Centre Sharjah, KICC Nairobi, and the Dhahran International Exhibition Centre.

Cross-Functional Leadership:

• Partner seamlessly with the digital marketing and social media teams to align on promotional newsletter campaigns and countdown alerts for upcoming regional launches.

• Provide clear project timelines so design teams can efficiently generate and edit regional backdrops, customized expo displays, and visual marketing materials for the EV space.

• Ensure all event milestones support the technical specifications required for our multi-platform digital publishing, including providing timely assets that meet the image dimension and video editing guidelines for LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management:

• Act as the primary operational liaison for local government bodies, automotive and EV industry associations, high-level sponsors, and key exhibitors.

• Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with third-party vendors, AV teams, and stand-building contractors to ensure strict adherence to MIE Groups' quality standards.

Market Expansion & Growth:

• Conduct feasibility studies, competitor analysis, and operational scaling plans for introducing the EV portfolio into Canada, Ethiopia, and other strategic territories.

• Analyze post-event data to continuously improve attendee experience, maximize ROI for exhibitors, and streamline internal processes.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of robust project management experience in the B2B events, exhibitions, or trade show industry. Direct experience with automotive, EV, or renewable technology sectors is highly preferred.

Global Perspective: Proven track record of managing large-scale events across international borders, specifically within the Middle East and African markets.

Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to manage multiple overlapping project timelines across different international time zones.

Communication: Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Arabic or French is a strong advantage for effectively navigating the MENA and Francophone Africa markets.
