JOB DETAILS: Position Title: Operations Manager Reports to: General Manager Department: Operations Hay Level: 12 2. JOB PURPOSE: Manage all operations activities to ensure safe and efficient operation through a team of site-based shift engineers and operators. Development of the short- and long-term operation strategy for the plant and the development of a capable shift engineer and operator team to support that strategy. Day to day plant operation, safely and efficiently, according to good utility practice, dispatch instructions, the company rules and procedures, OEM guidelines, legal, environmental, contractual and other requirements Key role in management of the O&M agreement with the Owner, the Contractual Services Agreement with Suez Services Saudi and the PPA with the Off taker. Ensure that the plant meets safety, availability, reliability, efficiency, generation and budget targets. Establish the appropriate procedures and computerized maintenance management processes as applicable to a prudent operation management, in particular the permit to work system. Coordinate operations activities with finance and accounting, administration, maintenance and HSE departments Define, manage and monitor the operations budget in line with the overall company budget. Responsible to ensure necessary procedures are in place and implemented for monitoring, recording and reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPI) required by ECRA (Electricity & Cogeneration Regulatory Authority). Ensures internal audits are carried out for KPI reporting process and corrective actions are taken against any reported deviations. Coordinate the annual external audit of KPI process conducted by ECRA. In the absence of performance engineer, assume the duties of performance engineer related to ECRA related activities. 4.
