## Description

The General Accountant will be responsible for managing daily accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies and Saudi regulations. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience with Odoo ERP, and the ability to support the company's financial operations in a fast-paced environment.

## Requirements

- Record and maintain daily financial transactions in the accounting system. 
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing activities. 
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. 
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow. 
- Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with ZATCA regulations. 
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. 
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy of financial records. 
- Process employee expense claims and petty cash transactions. 
- Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules. 
- Utilize Odoo ERP to process accounting transactions and generate financial reports. 
- Support internal and external audits. 
- Collaborate with other departments on financial and operational matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 
- 3–5 years of experience as a General Accountant. 
- Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP is required. 
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT, and financial reporting. 
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. 
- Professional certifications such as SOCPA, ACCA, CMA, or CPA are an advantage. 
- Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
