## Description

Job Purpose
The Enterprise Data Architect designs, governs, and maintains our organization's enterprise-wide data architecture to support clinical, operational, financial, and analytical needs — ensuring healthcare data is structured, integrated, secure, and scalable to enable interoperability, regulatory compliance, and data-driven decision-making. This role plays a strategic part in aligning data architecture with organizational strategy, national data standards, and healthcare regulatory requirements in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities
🔹 Enterprise Data Architecture Design
- Define and maintain the enterprise data architecture blueprint (conceptual, logical, physical models)
- Design scalable data platforms supporting HIS, EMR, ERP, data warehouses, and analytics ecosystems
- Establish standards for data modeling, naming conventions, metadata, and data lineage
🔹 Data Integration & Interoperability
- Design data integration frameworks across clinical and administrative systems
- Support standards such as HL7, FHIR, ICD-10, and SNOMED
- Ensure consistency and integrity of master and reference data
🔹 Data Governance & Compliance
- Embed governance, data quality, and privacy-by-design principles into architecture
- Ensure compliance with Saudi PDPL, NDMO, and MOH regulations
- Partner with Data Quality and Data Protection teams
🔹 Analytics & Platform Enablement
- Design architectures supporting BI, advanced analytics, and AI/ML platforms
- Enable enterprise dashboards with trusted data sources
- Support cloud, hybrid, and on-premise architectures per Saudi data residency requirements
🔹 Standards, Documentation & Roadmap
- Maintain data architecture standards, principles, and reference architectures
- Document data flows, system interfaces, and architectural decisions
- Contribute to the enterprise data roadmap
🔹 Advisory & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as trusted advisor to IT, analytics, clinical, and business teams
- Review solution designs for architectural alignment
- Support vendor selection and evaluation

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field
- TOGAF Certification (highly desirable)
- CDMP – Certified Data Management Professional (preferred)
Experience
- 8–12 years in data architecture, information architecture, or enterprise data management (healthcare sector preferred)
- Strong knowledge of TOGAF and DAMA-DMBOK frameworks
- Experience with healthcare systems (HIS, EMR, LIS, RIS, ERP)
- Deep understanding of NDMO Data Architecture Domain and Saudi PDPL
Skills
- Strategic planning in healthcare/government sectors
- Strong communication, mediation, and conflict resolution
- Fluency in Arabic and English (verbal & written)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
