## Description

Job Purpose / Objective :

Establish Nutritional plans, review menus, applying diet therapy served for patients after Clinical Dietitians Nutritional assessments.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities :

- Responsible for patient’s nutrition service and satisfaction.

- Make daily rounds to meet and interview the patients for a food allergy and food preferences.

- Observe tray line on daily basis.

- Make daily rounds to meet and interview the patients as required by Clinical Dietitians.

- Provide education to patients, their families and other members of Health Care Team.

- Develop with Clinical Nutrition department all menus for specific diets for Patients based on Medical Nutrition Therapy.

- Update and create meal plans based on Therapeutic Diet requirements.

- Prepare weekly report about quality of food service to chief clinical nutrition.

- Ensure the application of the diet plan for the patient.

- Distribute survey about patients’ satisfaction on dietary services and sent monthly reports.

- Participate in person-cantered care initiatives undertaken by HMG.

- Enrich patient experience with compassion, respect and dignity.

- Perform other applicable task and duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities.

Requirements:
Education/ Professional Qualification:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Food and Nutrition or Human Nutrition

Experience:

- Preferably three (3) years’ experience in planning regular and therapeutic diets in Accredited hospital.

Professional Licensing / Certification / Training:

- Relevant Certifications.

- Saudi Council License.
