## Description

- Interpret and report diagnostic imaging studies, including:- X-rays
- Ultrasound
- CT scans
- MRI
- Fluoroscopy and other relevant imaging examinations

- Review imaging requests and determine the most appropriate imaging modality when required.
- Perform or assist with image-guided procedures according to training and competency, such as biopsies, drainages, and aspirations.
- Participate in emergency and out-of-hours radiology services, including assessment of urgent and critical imaging findings.
- Communicate significant or unexpected findings promptly to the relevant clinical teams.
- Attend multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute radiological expertise to patient management.
- Maintain accurate and timely radiology reports and clinical documentation.
- Ensure appropriate patient identification, preparation, consent, and safety procedures before examinations and interventions.
- Apply radiation protection principles and ensure imaging is performed according to established safety standards.
- Participate in departmental teaching, clinical meetings, journal clubs, audits, and continuing professional development.
- Work collaboratively with radiologists, radiographers/technologists, nurses, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Supervise and support junior doctors or trainees where appropriate.
- Participate in quality improvement, clinical audit, research, and service-development activities.
- Follow hospital policies, professional standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Requirements:
- Medical degree (MBBS/MBChB or equivalent).
- Valid medical registration SCHS .
- Completion of internship and required foundation/clinical training.
- Enrollment in, or eligibility for, an accredited radiology residency/training program.
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications or examinations in radiology are advantageous, depending on the grade and institution.
- Demonstrated clinical experience in diagnostic radiology.
