Category All Clear Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Create Alert × Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Apply now » Section Head - Mechanical Date: Sep 11, 2026 Location: SA Job Description: Section Head – Mechanical Location: Rabigh, Saudi Arabia Job Summary The Section Head – Mechanical is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing preventive and corrective maintenance activities, plant overhauls, and outage maintenance work related to mechanical equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. Key Responsibilities Plan and supervise preventive, corrective, shutdown, and overhaul maintenance activities for plant mechanical equipment Prepare purchase requisitions for spare parts and consumables while ensuring availability of strategic spares within budget requirements Lead troubleshooting activities and support the maintenance team in resolving mechanical and operational issues Execute and monitor work orders through CMMS (SAP) and coordinate with maintenance engineers regarding technical matters and job completion Apply mechanical maintenance techniques and principles to maintain assigned equipment and systems Perform routine inspections, maintenance, repair, lubrication, and cleaning activities for mechanical, hydraulic, and associated systems Ensure implementation and compliance with Integrated Management System (IMS), HSE policies, and legal requirements Monitor IMS objectives, targets, and performance, and report findings to management Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions Identify competency gaps within the team and provide training, coaching, and performance evaluations Ensure effective utilization of manpower, materials, and maintenance resources Monitor hazards, environmental aspects, incidents, near misses, and emergency situations within assigned areas Perform other duties as assigned by management Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering Minimum 10 years of relevant maintenance experience in industrial or power plant environments Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance, plant shutdowns, and outage management Strong experience using SAP/CMMS systems Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and team management skills Knowledge of Quality, Occupational Health & Safety, and Environmental Management Systems Risk assessment and incident investigation skills Root cause analysis and problem-solving abilities Knowledge of applicable legal and regulatory requirements Strong communication skills in English Computer literacy including MS Office and SAP Ability to work effectively in demanding plant environments Apply now » Find similar jobs: Legal Notice Privacy Policy Compliance Line Opens in a new tab.
