## Description

Job Summary
The Senior Engineer – Integration Design is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting system integrations and APIs across Tameeni platforms. The role ensures reliable and secure integration between internal systems, external partners, and third-party services.
Job Objectives
- Design scalable and reliable integration solutions.

- Develop and maintain APIs and system integrations.

- Ensure smooth data exchange between internal and external systems.

- Support integration performance, availability, and issue resolution.

- Maintain integration standards and technical documentation.

Job Responsibilities
- Design and develop APIs and integration solutions based on business and technical requirements.

- Build and maintain REST/SOAP APIs and integration services.

- Work with data formats and protocols including JSON, XML, and OpenAPI.

- Configure and support API management and integration platforms.

- Troubleshoot integration issues and perform root-cause analysis.

- Monitor integration performance and ensure system reliability.

- Apply security, authentication, and data protection standards across integrations.

- Prepare and maintain technical designs, API specifications, and documentation.

- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, and external partners.

- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.

- Support junior engineers and share technical knowledge within the team.

Job Requirements
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Previous Work Experience
- 4+ years of relevant experience in system integration, API development, or middleware technologies.

- Experience working with enterprise integration environments is preferred.

Skills and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and OpenAPI.

- Experience with API management or middleware platforms such as IBM API Connect, IBM DataPower, or webMethods.

- Good understanding of integration architecture and design patterns.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Understanding of API security, authentication, and authorization.

- Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and Agile development practices.

- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

- Good written and verbal English.
