## Description

Job Summary:

The position exists to build Go+ and keep it running. Go+ does not yet exist, and Golf Saudi requires a single accountable technical authority within Federation Officer to take a business critical national platform from architecture and full-stack build through launch to sustained production operation, owning the National Golf ID and data model, integrations, security and compliance, vendor delivery, and service continuity, and making enterprise-level technical decisions and defending them to Executive Management and the CEO. Under matrix accountability to the IT & Digital Services , the role is also the technical owner of the Go Golf program’s digital and platform requirements; operational delivery of the program sits with the separate Go Golf Program Management role.

Responsibilities:

• Hold single-point accountability for Go+ across its full lifecycle – design, build, launch, and production operation – as the accountable technical authority for the initiative
• Own the target solution architecture, technology stack, and enterprise-level technical decisions, including build-versus-buy and platform standards
• Own the integration architecture connecting Go+ to internal systems, club and venue platforms, national sport and government systems, payment providers, and third parties
• Own platform security, PDPL and regulatory compliance, and the platform’s risk posture
• Own post-launch production operations and service continuity, including availability, releases, incidents, and disaster recovery
• Own the platform delivery plan, technology budget, roadmap, and technical risk register, escalating issues that threaten the launch commitment
• Lead technical execution across IT & Digital Services, the Federation Office, and external partners, personally bridging architecture, engineering, delivery, and operations
• Present technical options, risks, and delivery progress to the Executive Management, and CEO, and establish platform technical governance, reporting cadence, and dashboards
• Act as technical owner of the Go Golf program’s digital and platform requirements, translating requirements defined by the Federation Office into platform features, releases, and deliverables
• Deliver the platform capability specified by the program owner and Commercial – participant journey, Academy and venue integrations, sponsorship, measurement and reporting, and Arabic-language and accessibility requirements
• Support the Go Golf program solely as the technical and platform owner .

## Requirements

Role Qualifications:

Educational Background:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.

Experience:

8+ years of relevant experience in software engineering, digital platform delivery or related field.

Technical Skills:

Program and portfolio management; participant funnel analytics and performance measurement; digital product ownership and MVP scoping; budgeting and commercial modelling; proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools.

Soft Skills:

Executive stakeholder management and the ability to translate complex technical decisions for non-technical audiences, cross-functional influence without direct authority, sound judgement under delivery pressure, and strong written and verbal communication in Arabic and English.
