## Description

Oversees all aspects of pharmacy operations within American Hospital Dubai. Ensures safe and effective use of medications, overseeing the pharmacy staff, managing the budget and resources, developing, and implementing policies and procedures, and maintaining compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

## Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent.
 Licensure as required by country of origin.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

 Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience in hospital pharmacy practices.
 Knowledge of all aspects of drug-use control functions including purchasing.
 Knowledge of pharmacy computerization.
 Knowledge of the Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA) standards.
 Knowledge of principles of asepsis and related aseptic techniques for sterile products.
 Skills in Inventory control, drug storage, drug distribution, drug information, applied pharmacokinetics, and principles of drug therapy monitoring, as well as working knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Laws of the U.A.E.
 Ability to speak and write in English and Arabic fluently.
 Ability to apply accepted principles of management.
