## Description

Responsibilities:
Strategic Media Relations
1. Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with leading media outlets, editors-in-chief, journalists, publishers, and media stakeholders across Qatar.
2. Drive proactive media engagement strategies to secure impactful and consistent coverage.
3. Identify storytelling opportunities that enhance brand visibility and reputation.
4. Develop press materials including press releases, media briefings, executive talking points, and interview preparation.
5. Manage day-to-day media communications and serve as a trusted point of contact for key media partners.

Reputation & Crisis Management
1. Lead crisis communications planning and execution across corporate and operational issues.
2. Develop response frameworks, holding statements, Q&As, and escalation processes.
3. Monitor media narratives and public sentiment, identifying and mitigating reputational risks proactively.
4. Support leadership with clear communication strategies during sensitive situations.

Social Media Supervision
1. Supervise the overall direction and governance of the company’s social media account matrix across multiple platforms.
2. Ensure alignment between PR narratives, brand positioning, and social communications.
3. Partner with internal content and marketing teams to maintain messaging consistency and reputation standards.
4. Monitor social sentiment and platform trends to support broader communications strategy.

Strategic Communications
1. Partner cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and leadership teams to align communications priorities.
2. Support executive visibility and thought leadership opportunities* Manage external PR agencies and media partners where applicable.
3. Contribute to long-term brand reputation and communications strategy development.

Requirements:
1. 8–12+ years of experience in PR, corporate communications, or media relations.
2. Strong experience within the Qatar market is mandatory.
3. Native Arabic speaker with fluent English (spoken and written).
4. Deep and established relationships with Qatar-based media organizations, editors, and journalists.
5. Proven experience securing high-quality media coverage and managing complex communications challenges.
6. Strong understanding of local media dynamics and communication sensitivities.
7. Excellent writing, messaging, and stakeholder management skills.
8. Ability to operate effectively under pressure and in fast-paced environments.
