## Description

Job Purpose / Objective :

Responsible in monitoring the operation in chemistry section both technical and work organizational concerns in the area.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities :

- Assist in validating invoices and charge slips for patients.

- Receive and check specimen.

- Coordinate with laboratory technicians for urgent/stat request and arrange home visits and coordinates with phlebotomist and HMG transportation department.

- Refer patients to concerned physicians for results interpretation, if required.

- Answer all telephone calls and patient queries politely and professionally.

- Assist in preparing the IPPs (Internal Policies and Procedures) and make follow-up the reading, understanding and implementation of the procedures.

- Prepare the working schedule for the receptionist to assure the optimal presence as needed by the workload and support the receptionist work and assist in training staffs leading a professional skilled team.

- Responsible for performing the labor check tests inside his/ her respective section.

- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the area concerned at all times.

- Participate in continuing medical education to enlarge the professional knowledge and competency.

- Participate in person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG.

- Enrich patient experience with compassion, respect and dignity.

- Provide patient and family education as per the need.

- Perform other applicable task and duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities.

Requirements:
Education/ Professional Qualification:

- Educational : Bachelor Degree

- Professional : Laboratory Medical Technology

Experience:

- Minimum One (1) years of experience in the same specialty.

Professional Licensing / Certification / Training:

- Certification : BLS & Relevant Certification

- Licensing : Saudi Council & Licensed from Country of Origin is a must.
