## Description

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE To develop, apply, design, and validate the Business Continuity Management System organization wide including support and provision of specialist knowledge in the subject. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Identifies risks and potential impact to the business and flydubai brand and recommends appropriate mitigation actions. Establishes a robust framework for corporate business continuity in accordance with ISO standards (ISO 22301) to ensure flydubai is prepared to face disruptions. Plans and reviews the effectiveness of response mechanisms to identified risks/impact for continuous improvement. Collaborates with all departments to identify, standardize and consolidate existing continuity plans, ensuring alignment with other business areas. Leads the testing and training of Business Continuity actions and response at all levels providing documented feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement. Liaises with supply chain and key stakeholders to align, optimize and validate business continuity plans for effectivity, ensuring they remain effective and resilient. Monitors corporate changes in policy requiring updates affecting business continuity to align with organizational directives. Conducts periodic reviews of business continuity plans, processes, and procedures to ensure effectiveness of process and procedures and adjusting as needed. Monitors industry and regulatory updates for continued compliance and procedural changes to be incorporated within flydubai. Develops best practices for business continuity, providing guidance to flydubai departments to enhance resilience and operational effectiveness. Leads continued research into industry learnings and promote these insights within flydubai to enhance response and resilience. Represents the Business Continuity department within Crisis Management Centre on rostered basis, providing input and support during activations, exercises, and related response activities. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree (3+ years) Degree in Risk Management, Resilience Management, or a related discipline. Experience in applying Business Continuity and best practices. Experience working with multiple business areas and cross-functional stakeholders. Years with qualifications: 7 - 9 years Certified Business Continuity Institute (CBCI) or higher COMPETENCIES Customer Focus Team work Effective Communication Personal Accountability & Commitment to achieve Resilience and Flexibility (Can do attitude) ISR REQUIREMENTS Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
