## Description

Works under the Chief Medical Officer and together with the Chief of Pathology / Laboratory to develop and maintain a high-quality service, and cost-effective that is responsive to the needs of the medical staff and executes a plan for appropriate growth.

## Requirements

North American Board Certification or equivalent Western Board Certification in Clinical Pathology PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:Minimum of (5) years' of experience as a Clinical Pathologist in a CAP accredited laboratory of which at least (3) years of experience as a Director of Laboratory Services & Outreach program.Evaluation of performance and competencies for Laboratory personnel.Experience in quality improvement methodologies, and implementation of laboratory practice guidelines, protocols and pathways.Development of laboratory and administrative policies and procedures.
