As a Technology Experience Specialist (UI/UX), you will work with Product Owners, Technology Partners, Developers, and business stakeholders to design intuitive and effective digital experiences that solve complex business and user needs. You will focus on complex, data-rich B2B and enterprise applications, simplifying sophisticated workflows and translating business processes, user needs, and technical constraints into clear, usable experiences. You will bring strong experience in design systems, contributing to consistent and scalable experiences, and apply service design principles to improve end-to-end journeys across people, processes, data, and technology. Your design decisions will be informed by user research, usability testing, accessibility, data, and UX best practices. Strong expertise in Figma and modern design and prototyping tools is essential.
In this role, you will:
- Work with a team of cross-functional experts to deliver user research, visual prototypes, and usability testing.
- Drive adoption of the Experience Design playbook across the broader teams of Technical Product Management, Architecture, and Development.
- Leverage practice thinking to help continuously improve tools and methods that go into the continuous improvement of the experience design playbook.
- Participate in and help facilitate design thinking workshops and training sessions.
- Deliver the user experience of all non-customer-facing products, from the creation of design concepts to the final launch of the product, as well as post-launch monitoring and analysis.
- Act as an advocate of the product to the users, imparting insight into the product’s value and usability.
- Work with specialists to ensure all products have baseline usability measures that serve as a benchmark to improve upon while product improvements are made.
- Work with team specialists to drive the practice of research and analysis and subsequent incorporation into the overall experience design principles.
- Work closely with the Scrum Team to develop user stories that genuinely reflect the user needs uncovered during discovery.
Qualification
This job might be for you if you have:
- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Technology.
- Experience in Information Technology Architecture, User Experience Design, and Interaction Design.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven UX/Product Design experience working on complex B2B, enterprise, or operational applications.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to simplify complex workflows and data-heavy experiences, such as dashboards, enterprise platforms, or operational tools.
- Strong knowledge of interaction design, information architecture, data visualisation, and usability.
- Demonstrable experience working with and contributing to design systems at scale, including components, patterns, standards, and governance.
- Practical service design experience, including journey mapping, service blueprints, and improving end-to-end services.
- Strong experience in user research, usability testing, and prototype validation.
- Ability to work across discovery, conceptual design, prototyping, detailed interaction design, and delivery.
- Advanced knowledge of Figma, including components, variables, libraries, and prototyping.
- Experience working within Agile, multidisciplinary product teams.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and workshop facilitation skills.
- Experience in Human Factors, Psychology, Design, or any other related field.
- Experience in product/project delivery from the design stage through to launch is a plus.
- Experience in facilitating design thinking workshops and storytelling.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly, interactively, and persuasively to all audiences.
- Expert knowledge of software that supports verbally and visually engaging presentations (e.g., Visio, Fireworks, Adobe Suite, Sketch, InVision, Figma).

Advantageous:
- Experience within aviation, logistics, operations, engineering, finance, workforce management, or similarly complex enterprise environments.
- Experience with large-scale or multi-brand design systems.
- Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design standards.
- Experience designing AI-powered or intelligent decision-support experiences.
- Exposure to immersive technologies, 3D modelling, or emerging interaction paradigms.

## Requirements
