Monitor returned cheques, if any, and take the necessary actions to recover and collect such cheques.Oversee the issuance of financial payments due by the municipality in accordance with approved expenditure categories. Monitor all cheque books in use, ensure their proper safekeeping, verify the availability of the minimum required stock of cheque books for payment processing, and coordinate with approved banks to replenish supplies in line with established procedures.Monitor the municipality’s deposits and bank balances to ensure that liquidity levels do not fall below the minimum required threshold. Supervise bank guarantees issued in favor of the municipality to verify compliance with financial terms and procedures, and ensure proper accounting treatment for withdrawals, additions, or confiscations.Perform all tasks related to receiving, organizing, filing, and maintaining financial documents, records, and receipts, as well as other financial documentation. Ensure efficient retrieval when required and accurately enter all related data and information into the computerized information system.
