Beginning of the main content section.Return to the home pagePrintable Format Job Description - Commercial Control Specialist (26003106)Job Description Commercial Control Specialist - (26003106) Job Description Job Description:· Ensure compliance of market activities with applicable regulations and policies through effective oversight and clear governance, performance and risk monitoring, and data analysis to identify and address violations, protect consumers, safeguard market integrity, and improve regulatory procedures and platforms in collaboration with relevant partners to enhance efficiency, service quality, and proactive risk management.· Monitor the commercial and operational performance of markets affiliated with Dubai Municipality through approved performance dashboards, analyze deviations and their root causes, and propose corrective actions to enhance efficiency and compliance.· Manage risks associated with market activities by establishing and maintaining a risk register, conducting periodic risk assessments, identifying appropriate controls, developing mitigation plans, and monitoring their implementation.· Conduct regulatory compliance oversight of commercial activities, including licensing, pricing, advertising, specifications, health, and safety, ensuring alignment with applicable local and federal laws and relevant standards.· Develop systems and platforms supporting regulatory oversight and inspection management, monitor violations, maintain performance dashboards, and manage market data to ensure accuracy and facilitate analysis and data extraction.· Prepare periodic reports on completed studies, research, and activities, highlighting challenges encountered during implementation and the corrective actions taken to address them.· Comply with information security policies and protect data and information in accordance with the approved Data Classification Policy of Dubai Municipality; report any violations or security breaches through the channels designated by the Department; and participate in information security training programs.· Perform any other duties and responsibilities related to the nature and scope of the position, as assigned.
