Beginning of the main content section.Return to the home pagePrintable Format Job Description - Senior Legal Specialist (26003005)Job Description Senior Legal Specialist - (26003005) Job Description · Provide legal consultation on all legal matters and issues to the assigned Section Manager, legal professionals, and all concerned parties upon request.· Prepare specialized studies and research on all matters and issues related to legal affairs; prepare regulations, policies, instructions, procedures, and work manuals governing all operations of the assigned section, and work on their development whenever required by business needs in coordination with the relevant organizational units.· Conduct studies and research, and review and develop studies and research related to problems and challenges that may face various organizational units within the department based on their requests, and prepare reports containing the study results and the legal solutions that should be adopted to address such problems and challenges.· Conduct advanced specialized studies to address legislative deficiencies or gaps in certain areas of the department’s work and any existing conflicts between them, and submit corrective proposals and recommendations to address and rectify them.· Assess the status of legislation to verify its suitability with the department’s policies and directions and its ability to achieve strategic objectives through periodic reviews of legislation issued by the department, in addition to submitting proposals aimed at updating and developing such legislation based on changes and emerging developments across various sectors and activities.
