Enhances coordination and cooperation with local and federal government entities and relevant stakeholders, and builds partnerships with the private sector, research, and academic institutions. Also contributes to supporting and conducting research, studies, and analyses related to climate change, preparing technical indicators and reports that support decision-making and the development of climate policies and initiatives, and enhancing resource efficiency and environmental sustainability within the organization's jurisdiction. Supervise the implementation and monitoring of climate strategies, policies, and initiatives at the level of the Emirate of Dubai, and analyze their alignment with national targets and international trends in the field of climate change.Conduct specialized climate studies and analyses to assess the impacts and risks of climate change, and analyze climate change scenarios and their implications for relevant sectors, resources, and ecosystems.Contribute to the preparation and development of greenhouse gas emission reduction plans and initiatives, and support the identification of opportunities to curb emissions and enhance energy and resource efficiency within the organization's jurisdiction.Support climate adaptation and resilience initiatives by identifying potential risks and impacts of climate change, and proposing appropriate measures and solutions to enhance the adaptive capacity of sectors and systems.Analyze and monitor climate change and emission data and indicators, verify data quality and accuracy, and prepare necessary metrics and measurements to track progress in achieving climate targets.Prepare specialized technical reports and studies related to climate change, emissions, adaptation, and sustainability, and provide technical analyses and recommendations to support decision-making and policy development.Contribute to the development and review of policies, frameworks, and technical standards related to climate change, monitor scientific and technical developments and international practices, and evaluate their suitability for the local working environment.Coordinate effectively with local and federal government entities, the private sector, and research and academic institutions to exchange data, expertise, and knowledge, and support the implementation of joint climate projects, studies, and initiatives.Monitor scientific and technical developments and international commitments related to climate change, analyze their implications for the Emirate of Dubai and the organization, and propose initiatives and practices that contribute to enhancing climate performance and environmental sustainability.Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
