Perform a full range of general radiology examinations efficiently and accurately in accordance with departmental protocols and professional standards.2. Verify patient identification and review imaging requests prior to performing examinations.3. Prepare and position patients appropriately to obtain optimal diagnostic images.4. Provide clear instructions and reassurance to patients and families to support cooperation and comfort during procedures.5. Apply radiation protection principles and dose optimization practices to minimize radiation exposure in accordance with regulatory requirements and ALARA principles.6. Adapt imaging techniques based on patient age, condition, and clinical indication.7. Recognize normal and abnormal anatomical structures and escalate urgent or unexpected findings to the Radiologist when required.8. Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with departmental procedures and manufacturer guidelines.9. Ensure accurate documentation of imaging procedures and maintain timely transfer of images within RIS/PACS systems.10. Maintain a safe and organized imaging environment in accordance with infection prevention and institutional safety standards.11. Prioritize and perform imaging examinations based on clinical urgency, patient condition, and in compliance with the institution’s established turnaround times.12. Participate in on-call duties as assigned.13. Provide guidance and support to students and newly appointed staff when required.14. Perform other duties assigned by departmental management.
