Beginning of the main content section.Return to the home pagePrintable Format Job Description - Inspector- Vehicles Monitoring & Passengers Transport (26002548)Job Description Inspector- Vehicles Monitoring & Passengers Transport - (26002548) Job Description Strategy• Provide daily field insights and practical recommendations to the direct supervisor to enhanceinspection quality and address operational challenges.Operations• Receive daily work schedules, cover assigned zones in the smart inspection system, and followapproved inspection routes.• Conduct field inspections across all assigned transport categories and record outcomesdirectly in the smart inspection system.• Inspect driver permits, IDs, vehicle side numbers, and plate numbers, attaching requiredphoto and GPS-tagged evidence.• Conduct on-foot inspections at hotspots, including outlets and event locations, to detectpassenger smuggling and log findings in the smart inspection system.• Issue electronic violations, attach time/GPS-stamped evidence, and complete all requireddata fields.• Conduct regular technical inspections to verify safety, roadworthiness, and compliance withquality standards; document technical findings/defects in sTafteesh• Detect faults affecting performance/safety, recommend corrective actions to operators, andtrack closure status.• Prepare reports for the supervisor on daily work obstacles, incidents, and field challenges.• Follow up on vehicles and drivers across Dubai to ensure no violations exist and respond topublic complaints by inspecting offenders and preparing related reports.• Ensure immediate uploading of all inspection attachments in the smart inspection systemafter completing the shift.• Monitor hourly rental, luxury transport, taxi, non-emergency medical transport, and touristtransport operations for compliance with regulations.• Conduct field inspections of rental vehicle activities as per laws, regulations, and circulars.• Coordinate with internal and external authorities regarding lost and found items in taxis andluxury vehicles at outlets and events.• Coordinate with relevant authorities at event locations to support distribution plans for taxisand luxury vehicles and ensure operational readiness.• Supervise service delivery of buses, taxis, and limousines during events, ensuring smoothoperations.• Monitor and inspect taxi advertisements and issue violations for non-compliance.• Shift between areas to follow up on passenger smuggling offenders and issue finesaccordingly.• Maintain inspection vehicles clean internally and externally.• Perform any duties assigned by line management.Product / Process Improvement• Comply with and apply the approved inspection methodology in the smart inspection system.• Provide daily field feedback to support continuous improvement of inspection practices andreporting accuracy.Physical Working Conditions:• Highly field-intensive role requiring continuous outdoor presence across Emirate-wide zones,outlets, hotspots, event venues, and transport hubs; frequent walking, vehicle-based patrol,exposure to weather, traffic conditions, and operational environments.
