## Description

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operational:
· Install, configure, and maintain communication systems (P2P radio, VoIP, satellite, LTE, and network devices).
· Maintain communication network availability and maximize uptime by configuring, troubleshooting, and monitoring network devices, LAN/WAN connectivity, and structured copper and fiber optic cabling.
· Maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot VSAT communication systems and links, including antenna alignment, signal levels (RX/TX), bandwidth management, and coordination with service providers.
· Maintain VoIP solutions, video conferencing systems, and their associated communication equipment rooms and telecom racks.
· Conduct rig/site visits for installation, inspection, maintenance, and fault resolution.
· Ensure compliance with company standards, cybersecurity requirements, and operational procedures.
· Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot facility access control systems, including card readers, biometric readers, access control panels, and door controllers.

Operational (General):
· Provide assistance to SANAD business units on issues related to Communication system and surveillance systems.
· Participate in routine inspections to ensure the highest safety and quality standards are maintained.
· Comply with company HSE policies and procedures while working on drilling rigs and remote locations.
· Support the organization during emergency situations and operational incidents when required.
· Perform any maintenance activities assigned by management both onsite and remotely.
· Remain up to date with the Company's business environment and role requirements to identify potential opportunities and challenges.
· Contribute to departmental activities as required to ensure business continuity during the absence of team members.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge and Experience:
- Minimum of 2–5 years of relevant experience in Communication systems, networking, and VSAT systems.
- Practical experience with network and connectivity technologies such as LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, SD-WAN, and VSAT / LTE / 5G communication systems used at remote sites or rigs.

Education and Certifications:

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Instrumentation, or related field.

## Requirements

Minimum of 2–5 years of relevant experience in Communication systems, networking, and VSAT systems. Practical experience with network and connectivity technologies such as LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, SD-WAN, and VSAT / LTE / 5G communication systems used at remote sites or rigs. Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Instrumentation, or related field.
