Develop and manage original research projects by preparing, setting up, conducting and recording the outcomes of surveys and fieldwork.2. Work within teams, plan research projects and monitor progress – organize project meetings, document progress, ensure the implementation of proper ethical and other regulations, and ensure timely progress reports.3. Collect data, analyze and interpret the results of own research, conduct policy mapping, extract policy recommendations and author a spectrum of research reports and academic publications.4. Contribute to generating policy recommendations and write policy briefs, research reports and other publications.5. Provide guidance as required to academic staff (researchers and faculty) and assisting students based on the research of the Associate Researcher.6. Prepare funding proposals and assist in securing research funding.7. Maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders.8. Present research findings at internal and external conferences, seminars, and other events.9. Contribute to academic and executive education, content development and delivery, as well as taking part in policy advisory.10. Assist with content development and delivery on the post-graduate programs, as appropriate.11. Make positive contributions to their professional field and the wider community.
